Liquid Glass HUD + built-in RP chat (QBCore · Qbox · ESX)

A modern, CEF-safe "liquid glass" HUD with a built-in RP chat, 3 themes + an in-game theme creator, and auto-detected multiframework support. One resource, one NUI. 

NX HUD (+chat) bundles the HUD and the RP chat into a single resource. Real *liquid glass *in-game (without the backdrop-filter that flickers in FiveM), deep F7 customization (themes, theme creator, per-element editor), 16 languages and **QBCore / Qbox / ESX **support by auto-detection, no dependencies.

NX HUD is not "another web-copied glassmorphism HUD". The glass is built from CSS layers designed for FiveM's CEF (Chromium 103), where backdrop-filter does not blur the game and flickers (a known FiveM bug). The result: oherent glass, no black flicker on restarts, with 100 % local fonts and icons (the NUI works offline).

It also absorbs a full RP chat: you don't need to buy a separate chat… but if you already have one (Quasar, other chats...), disable it with one line (`Config.Chat.enabled = false`) and nx-hud won't interfere at all.

Features

• CEF-safe liquid glass,  layered-composition glass (tint, light, grain, bevel, sheen), no backdrop-filter. Inline critical CSS = zero black flicker on restarts. 100 % local fonts and SVG icons.

• Built-in RP chat — /me, /do, /ooc, /tweet, /clear, /911, /sos; keys T (input), L (clear), G (help while downed). History, autocomplete, filter  hotbar and a color palette for /me · /do.

• Chat can be fully disabled, `Config.Chat.enabled = false` and nx-hud registers no  chat commands, keybinds or handlers, and doesn't touch the native chat. Ideal if you already run a paid chat.

• Standard cfx chat compatibility, listens to chat:addMessage, chatMessage,  suggestions… and sanitizes third-party HTML (anti-XSS by design).

• 3 visual themes - Nexo (default), Meteora (industrial stencil + segmented EQ) and From Zero (marbled, ring speedometer, capsules). Switch from F7.

• In-game theme creator (F7) - accents, glass color/opacity, shape, background pattern, neon and sheen, live-previewed. Your theme persists.

• Per-element display editor (F7), card on/off per block (pills, speedometer, notifications, chat) and stats as bars or icon+number, with/without card.

• Multiframework via NEXO BRIDGE- auto-detects QBCore / Qbox / ESX, no manifest dependencies, no ox_lib. Forceable via `Config.Bridge.Framework`.

• Status bars - health, armor, stamina, hunger, thirst with caching, plus automatic hunger/thirst reset on revive (QBCore/ESX) or txAdmin heal.

• Speedometer with FUEL / ENG / BELT, speed (MPH/KMH), fuel with multi-provider detection (qb-fuel, LegacyFuel, ps-fuel, cdn-fuel, lc_fuel, ox_fuel + native fallback).

• Integrated seatbelt + airbag, key B; protection with belt, ejection without it, airbag effect. Can be disabled to use another seatbelt resource.

• Managed minimap, over-the-shoulder zoom and compass-style waypoint - the waypoint travels a bearing rail under the top pills based on where you look.

• Own notifications + framework capture — shows `QBCore:Notify` /  `esx:showNotification` in the HUD, with anti-duplicate dedup.

• 16 editable languages.

Requirements

• FXServer build 5181+, `lua54`.

• QBCore, Qbox or ESX Legacy (auto-detected). No ox_lib required.

• Optional: pma-voice / saltychat, any fuel system, a dispatch system for /911 and /sos.

- If you use the built-in chat, remove any `ensure chat` from server.cfg (nx-hud declares `provide 'chat'`).
