I’ll be honest. I discovered roleplay 5 years ago, on a small server. At first, I thought it was a bit silly. Watching people talk with such passion in a video game… it seemed ridiculous.
Then I tried it.
And very quickly, I got hooked. Except I wasn’t speaking with “enthusiasm.” I was speaking with passion.
In-game arguments that didn’t seem “acted.” Discord drama. Unpredictable founders. Questionable members.
“I’ll do it myself.”
I created my server with a couple of friends. And that’s when… first slap in the face.
I hired my first developer. I knew nothing. I trusted him, paid him well… he took the money and vanished.
I hired a second developer. This time, he “worked”… except he was just reselling free resources he downloaded elsewhere.
At that point I thought: ok, the problem is the developers.
I needed a phone script. Everyone was talking about Quasar. But I stumbled on an ad from another creator. Sleek. Professional.
I caved. Bought it. Installed it. It didn’t work. I opened a ticket… which is still open today.
But a friend insisted: “Get Quasar.” I bought it. Installed it. Opened a ticket… and someone answered. Helped me. Explained things.
First time I thought: “Ok. These are actual professionals.”
After 3 years, I gave up. Shut everything down. But by then, I had learned a lot about this community.
I created my own scripts. Developed a perishable food system. Published it.
That same evening, I checked: about twenty sales in just a few hours. My heart was racing.
0€.
I had left the test payment mode on.
And that’s when it hit me.
The problem isn’t just the devs. Not just the servers. Not just the players. The problem runs deeper.
How do you know who to trust?
And that’s where TopV was born. A platform based on a simple principle: cross-referenced, verifiable information. You don’t say you’re reliable. It shows. You don’t claim to exist. You prove it.
We’ve all, at some point, had a reason to lose hope.
TopV exists to give it back.
