This is not justice
It's organized harassment.

As the current owner of Novar Labs, I want to share my experience regarding everything that has happened within the community in relation to the so-called "justice" movements for creators.

For a long time, I chose to remain completely on the sidelines. Not out of indifference, but because I always believed that the best thing to do was focus on working, growing, and not fueling unnecessary conflicts.

I never had any direct problems at first, nor did I participate in public discussions. I always opted to maintain a parallel path to everything that was happening.

However, there came a point when this situation stopped being something external and began to affect me directly.

Some time ago, when I held the role of head of support at Quasar, everything exploded suddenly. What from the outside might have seemed like an organized cause or a search for justice, from the inside was experienced in a completely different way: as an accumulation of anger, constant attacks, and extremely aggressive social pressure.

Those were truly difficult days. The situation escalated to a level that I wasn't prepared to face. I was constantly receiving direct messages, at all hours, many of them filled with insults, unfounded accusations, and messages trying to destabilize us or force us to abandon what we were building. The narrative had already been imposed: we were "thieves," regardless of what we said or did.

The helplessness of not being able to defend yourself is difficult to explain unless you've experienced it. Trying to explain was pointless. There was no room for dialogue, no interest in listening, and any attempt to clarify anything was buried under a wave of attacks.

To this was added something even more serious: I was banned from multiple communities and platforms, including Warden, solely for being part of the support team. Not for proven actions, not for clear evidence, but by association. In many cases, I wasn't even allowed to appeal or present my side of the story.

That was the turning point for me.

Because at that moment I understood that this was no longer a discussion within a community, nor about differences of opinion, nor even about criticism of a project.

It was harassment.

Organized harassment, sustained over time, and in many cases validated by others under the idea that they were doing "the right thing."

The most worrying aspect of this whole situation is how a single narrative is constructed, where only one side has a voice. Fragments are shared, screenshots are taken out of context, accusations are made without any possibility of verification, and a collective pressure is generated where anyone who tries to question that narrative also becomes a target.

An environment is created where defending oneself is seen as guilt, where silence is interpreted as admission, and where any path leads to the same result: being attacked.

With the passage of time, and from a different perspective, I can see everything more clearly. And I still maintain the same thing: this is not justice.

Justice implies listening to both sides, evaluating real evidence, allowing for a defense, and acting with sound judgment. What we experienced was the complete opposite: public judgments without context, social condemnations without due process, and constant, unchecked attacks.

When a person or a team is pressured to the point of affecting their personal well-being, when opportunities are blocked, when the right to defend oneself is denied, and when collective rejection is fostered without solid grounds…that is not justice.

It is harassment.

And what is most worrying is that this type of behavior not only affects those who suffer it directly, but ends up harming the entire community. It generates fear, distrust, and an environment where anyone can become the next target.

That is why I believe it is important to talk about this. Not from the perspective of conflict, but from experience. Because normalizing these kinds of situations is what allows them to continue happening.

And as a community, we have a responsibility to clearly differentiate between what is justice… and what, in reality, is harassment.
